Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
